Robert Benko

Bob is the co-owner of three radio stations in Michigan, along with his brother, George. The stations are WMIC, WTGV, and WBGV-FM. He also contributes news and sports reports to these stations. He is a reporter and photographer for National Speed Sport News. He and wife Mary reside in mid-Michigan. He is a long-time member of the DSBA as well as the Automotive Press Association. After graduated from Eastern Mich. he worked for the Toledo-Lucas
County Planning Commission, from there he was appointed the City Planning
and Urban Renewal Director for the City of Port Huron. After that I was
hired as the Executive Director of the Thumb Area Economic
Comm.(Huron,Lapeer,Sanilac, and Tuscola Counties), after that he became the Chief
Marketing Director of the Michigan State Housing Authority. His last position was Deputy Director of the Electric Division of the Michigan
Public Service Commission.
