Job Description:
Assist with day-to-day operations within the Community Relations Department, including but not limited to: administrative duties, leading Game Changers Program and assisting with Come Together Foundation Programs and NBA Cares Programming.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Assist with managing Community Relations Interns and job duties of Box Office Representative

Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities include the following:

COMMUNITY TICKETING

•Manage and grow the Game Changer program (i.e. building its brand, creating awareness, forming statewide partnerships, driving nominations, identifying and sharing compelling storylines, grow social/earned media attention and ensure data collection and lead generation through all actions)
•Manage the implementation of the Community Ticket Distribution plan – as outlined in strategic planning and communication planning documents
•Assist in the distribution of tickets and maintenance of Player Charity Ticket Sections
•Manage all printed and digital collateral associated with both the Game Changer and Community Ticket programs
•Manage in-arena activation of the Game Changer program including but not limited to guest relations, coordinating game-night presentation and media relations
•Formulate inter-departmental relationships that allow collaboration with Marketing, Public Relations, Ticket Sales, Corporate Partnerships, Brand Networks, Accounting and others

CR PROGRAMMING

•Assist with and create programming associated with but not limited to Game Changers, NBA League platforms, and Employee Service
•Assist with independent programming associated with Pistons players, coaches, staff and Pistons Legends
•Assist with managing all digital media and social media channels for all the Community Relations and Come Together Foundation assets and programming

COME TOGETHER FOUNDATION

•Assist with fundraising efforts for the Come Together Foundation, including but not limited to special events, Pistons 50/50 Payday and online donations
•Manage gifting related to Impact Awards, grants and statewide partnerships, including recommending beneficiaries, collecting necessary documents and processing gifts with appropriate internal departments

ADMINISTRATIVE

•Assist Departmental Leads with both strategic planning and implementation for all CR programs
•Assist with and manage all additional projects as assigned

COMMUNITY RELATIONS PROGRAMS

•Assist in preparation of materials and collateral for department as needed
•Manage and maintain organization of shared electronic files

Qualifications:

•Four-year degree or equivalent work experience required
•3 to 5+ years professional experience in related field
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
